At Myst, we craft our fragrances with skin-loving ingredients and a whole lot of heart. Every bottle is made in small batches using premium oils sourced from the most reputable global producers. But even the most luxurious formulas aren’t one-size-fits-all, especially when it comes to sensitive skin.

We carefully select each oil for its quality, safety, and scent. we never dilute our oils with fillers, synthetics, or harsh additives or synthetic harsheners, and our formulas are crafted to be kind to the skin and long lasting on the body.

Every Skin is Unique

Fragrance oils can interact differently depending on skin type, sensitivity level, and even personal health conditions. While the vast majority of our customers enjoy their Myst experience without issue, it’s important to remember that what works beautifully for one person might feel too rich or reactive for another.

If you have a history of eczema, fragrance sensitivities, or chronic skin conditions, we encourage added caution.

Especially with deeper, more concentrated oils like musk, individuals with highly reactive or broken skin barriers may experience discomfort or irritation.

A Note on Musks

Musk-based oils are beloved for their sensual warmth and staying power. They are also heavier by nature, with rich fixatives that help them cling to the skin longer.

However, this richness can sometimes be too intense for sensitive or eczema prone skin. If you have experienced irritation in the past with musks or similarly strong scents, we recommend only using on clothes, conducting a patch test first or avoiding this category.

Patch Test First

To stay safe and confident in your experience, we recommend a simple patch test:

Apply a small amount of oil to the inside of your wrist or behind the ear.
Wait 24 hours.
If no redness, itching, or irritation occurs, you’re good to go!
